Konftel, a European supplier of conference phones, is launching the Konftel 200AUX, which the company claims is the world's first conference phone that can be used with a wireless headset. The new phone gives liberty to the user to participate in a phone meeting outside the phone's reception area-a useful feature for presentations and lectures. The Konftel 200AUX is a conference phone with an analog connection that is made for small and medium-sized conference rooms up to 320 square feet. The phone's reception area can be increased up to 700 square feet with expansion microphones. The Konftel 200AUX is equipped with Konftel's patented OmniSound technology, providing natural, crystal-clear sound. "We're glad to be the first to offer a solution that makes it possible to use a conference phone and wireless headset in parallel," said Sam Romagnano, Area Sales Manager in North America for Konftel, in a statement. Prompted by enquiries from customers and partners about a conference phone and wireless headset combination, especially from the US, Konftel finally came out with this innovative phone. "Several of our partners in the US are headset distributors, and they see a great need on the market for this new solution," said Romagnano. At a recommended retail price of $549, Konftel 200AUX will be available for purchase from dealers on November 29. Konftel develops and sells products and technology for phone meetings based on cutting-edge expertise in acoustics and digital signal processing. All the conference phones are equipped with the patented OmniSound technology, providing crystal-clear sound. The products are sold globally under the Konftel brand.
